Our precision temperature control units are ideal for thermal stabilization for Diamond Turning Machines, Fly Cutters, Interferometers, and Optics. Benefits of precision temperature control include Significantly Lower Margin of Error, Decreased Scrap, Lower Overhead Costs, and Faster Turnaround Time.

Like our other ATCU’s, the ATCU 4, 6, and 7 stabilizes the temperature in an enclosure by a factor of 50 or maintains +/- 0.02 ºC in environments with +/- 1.0 ºC, virtually eliminating all errors caused by temperature variations. NASA Goddard Space Flight Center uses several discontinued ATCUs for their optics development.

This series of ATCU were used sparingly as demonstration units. Praecis has completely refurbished and offers  options to upgrade the system with the latest control system, touchscreen user interface, and eight channels of temperature monitoring. It has a one-year warranty and optional remote programming from Praecis.
