Praecis IsoPure System Description.
The Præcis Environment Complete System is a turnkey, precision, Class 2 Isolation Chamber that includes:
Praecis Laminar Airflow System.
Praecis Chamber and Airlock.
The IsoPure chamber remains pathogen free through the use of UPLA filtration, laminar (unidirectional) air flow, and UV sanitation.
IsoPure Laminar Airflow System.
The laminar air flow is a critical component of Praecis’ ability to remove residue pathogens in the chamber.
A textile mattress sits on top of the chamber frame and creates a laminar airflow bathing the chamber contents and removing the air for cleaning in the IsoPure Filtration unit. The constant stream of downward air removes particulates from the chamber and leaves via a floor vent returning to the IsoPure Filtration Unit for cleaning.
IsoPure Airlock and Isolation Chamber
The airlock attached to the main chamber allows personnel to move in and out of the isolated area without losing the chamber’s pressure. Two sliding doors, one for entry into the airlock and the other for entry into the chamber ensures that the chamber pressure remains constant.
An automatic pressure control monitor is located on the front of the chamber and an annunciator provides pressure information at a remote location such as a nurses’ station. The main chamber, constructed from a lightweight aluminum, supports the chamber curtains and the IsoPure laminar airflow mattress. Equipment can be placed on racks inside the chamber; or placed equipment outside the chamber with probes, hoses and cables passed through utility sleeves into the main chamber. A range of chamber sizes and customized chambers are available. For example, Praecis can design and build larger chambers/rooms accommodating multiple beds.
Monitoring
The Praecis IsoPure control system is proprietary control software that does not require user interaction and will operate indefinitely without adjustment. If there is a significant change in the operating conditions or ambient variables, Praecis can monitor and adjust the system control software from our headquarters.
