The Praecis Environment components are modular and customizable.

Praecis provides ultra-precision climate control for any size enclosure or room. The Praecis Environment controls environmental variables including temperature, humidity, pressure, and cleanliness.

Central Climate Control Processor.

The ATCU houses the climate control hardware and software,. The Praecis control systems are based on the Praecis proprietary control software. The software is highly flexible accommodating all climate control specifications.

The System Runs Itself.

Once tuned, Praecis systems do not require user interaction and will operate indefinitely without adjustment. If there is a significant change in the operating conditions or ambient variables, Praecis can monitor and adjust system control parameters from our headquarters.

Complete Turnkey Climate System.

Praecis provides system engineering from concept to installation and acceptance testing. Each system can have any combination of features and controls. We design, build, and install each system using state-of-the-art elements and controllers customizing each system for the application.

We can build whatever you need. For example, one ATCU can manage the climate in multiple enclosures. In this case, the ATCU size is determined by enclosures’ additive footprint.

Customized System.

The Præcis Environment System is a turnkey, precision climate control system customized to the application. The Praecis Environment systems are the world’s most accurate and cost effective climate control systems .

Sizing the ATCU.

  • Præcis offers a selection of ATCU models to accommodate enclosures from tabletop applications to entire rooms.

  • The size of the enclosure determines the size of the ATCU. Multiple ATCU's can be combined to accommodate any size enclosure or room.

  • A single ATCU can simultaneously provide temperature control to multiple enclosures. (See above example.).

Climate Control Variables

  • Humidity. Constant up to ± 1% RH around the relative humidity set point. The Praecis Humidity Control unit uses steam in an isothermal process, and as such does not change the temperature of the air.

  • Cleanliness. Praecis systems comply to ISO cleanroom standard 14644-1, Class 9 down to Class 1. Includes HEPA or ULPA filters, laminar air flow to maintain constant uni-directional flow (mandated in ISO 1 - 4 classified cleanrooms). Cleanroom features can include absence of horizontal surfaces, rounded corners, pass-through chambers/showers, and air sampling to monitor contamination inside the closure.

  • Pressure. Positive air pressure cleanrooms normally operate within an air pressure range of 5.0 Pa to 50.0 Pa. The Praecis system can control pressure to ± 1 Pa.

Praecis Control Software

Praecis software controls, monitors, and records of all enclosure conditions. The software combines all measurements into one user interface, which displays on a laptop computer. The software is user friendly providing real time data as well as warning alarms if the set temperature goes out of bounds.
